How it works — step by step
From your first message to your return home, you always know what is happening, who is responsible for what, and what you are paying for. Here is the whole route.

Request and initial consultation
Describe your situation via the form or by email — free of charge and with no obligation. A manager replies within one business day and, if needed, sends you a secure channel for medical documents.

Medical records review
We prepare your medical dossier for hospitals: we translate the diagnosis, discharge summaries and scans into English or Chinese, and clarify missing details with you.

Hospital matching and preliminary assessments
We send the dossier to the international departments of partner hospitals, collect preliminary treatment plans, and choose the hospital together with you — matching the hospital to the diagnosis, not the other way around.

Cost estimate and two contracts
We fix our service fee estimate and help you contract with the hospital. There are two contracts: a service contract with us and a medical contract directly with the hospital. You pay the hospital directly for treatment.

Trip arrangements
Visa, flights, accommodation near the hospital, transfers and an interpreter — we put the trip together around your budget and dates.

Treatment and support
We meet you in China, accompany you to appointments with a medical interpreter, and stay in touch every day — from everyday matters to communication with doctors.

Return home
You receive your discharge summary and recommendations translated into your language. After you return, we stay in touch: we pass your questions to the doctor and translate the answers.
Two contracts — no middlemen in your treatment payments
We deliberately separate the service from the medicine: each party is responsible for its own part, and your treatment money never passes through an intermediary.
Contract 1 · with Silkway Med
Service contract
Hospital matching, documents, trip arrangements and support. This is the only thing you pay us for — at an estimate agreed in advance (public offer).
Contract 2 · with the hospital
Medical contract
Diagnostics and treatment. Signed directly between you and the hospital and paid directly to the hospital — we help with translation and signing.
The cost of treatment is set by the hospital after verifying the diagnosis — we do not mark up medical services or accept payment for them.
